Yongnam clinches deals worth S$22.8m
CONSTRUCTION firm Yongnam Holdings has secured two contracts worth S$22.8 million - a specialist civil engineering contract in Hong Kong, and a mechanical engineering contract for the Trisonic Wind Tunnel in Singapore. The former was secured by Yongnam Engineering (HK), and the latter by Yongnam Engineering & Construction. Both are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Yongnam. Work on the Hong Kong project is expected to begin in January, with completion slated for December 2016. As for the Singapore contract - for the replacement of air storage tanks at the Singapore Wind Tunnel Facility located at the National University of Singapore - work will start in early 2015 and is expected to be completed within the calendar year.
