The banks will report earnings on Oct 27 (OCBC), Oct 28 (UOB) and Oct 31 (DBS). We expect earnings to decline 2-5 per cent quarter on quarter from weaker net interest income (NII) and higher provisions, though non-NII could improve after a risk-off Q2.
