THE Business Times (BT) on Thursday clinched two awards for 2015 at probably the most boisterous, unorthodox English/Malay/Tamil Media (EMTM) Group Media Awards at Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) yet.
BT's Joyce Hooi won Commentary/Analysis of the Year for her commentary: By gum, the West is wrong about Singapore, written in the wake of the death of Singapore's founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, while Cai Haoxiang took home the award for Headline of the Year with his tongue-in-cheek: Stationery, but still Popular, for a story on Popular Holdings.
