Buying by directors falls again; selling returns

THE buying fell for the second straight week while the selling returned after posting no sales for three straight weeks based on filings on Singapore Exchange from Oct 3 to 7.

A total of 12 companies recorded 19 purchases worth S$1.51 million versus one firm with one disposal worth S$0.59 million. The buy figures were down from the previous week's 18 companies, 26 purchases and S$1.71 million.

Meanwhile, the buyback activity fell with 14 companies that posted 37 repurchases worth S$4.49 million. The figures were down from the previous week's 17 companies, 60 trades and S$6.39 million.
