China: Shares higher in morning trade
[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were higher in morning trade on Friday following overnight gains in US stocks, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.62 per cent, or 20.35 points, to 3,282.66.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.52 per cent, or 7.89 points, to 1,537.27.
