China: Shares mixed in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were mixed in morning trade on Thursday, as investors turned cautious ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday next week, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.17 per cent, or 5.31 points, to 3,152.39.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.10 per cent, or 1.61 points, to 1,534.93.
