China: Shares up in morning trade

[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were higher in morning trade on Friday, as resources firms led the gains on bargain hunting, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.84 per cent, or 28.02 points, to 3,364.48.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.43 per cent, or 6.33 points, to 1,466.02.
