China: Shares slightly higher in morning trade
[SHANGHAI] Chinese shares were slightly higher on Friday morning following six previous sessions of gains after the government launched market-boosting measures, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.02 per cent, or 0.83 points, to 4,124.75.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.36 per cent, or 8.51 points, to 2,361.16.
