Europe: Stock markets climb at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Wednesday following solid gains across Asia and on Wall Street.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.2 per cent to 7,243.37 points compared with Tuesday's close.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.1 per cent to 12,597.58 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.1 per cent to 5,360.45.
