Europe: Stock markets climb at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trade on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.5 per cent to 7,262.54 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 also gained 0.5 per cent to 11,698.70 points and the Paris CAC 40 added 0.3 per cent to 4,842.91 compared with the finish on Thursday.
