Europe: Stock markets dip at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets nudged lower at the start of trading on Tuesday.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index fell fractionally to 7,506.41 points and the Paris CAC 40 dropped similarly to 5,364.16.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index lost 0.1 per cent to 12,959.72 compared with the close Monday.
Official data ahead of the open showed Germany's trade surplus grew slightly in August compared with the previous month.
