[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets fell at the start of trading Thursday.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index was down 0.3 per cent to 6,888.69 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 lost 0.5 per cent to 10,843.89 points and the Paris CAC 40 also shed 0.5 per cent to 4,788.76.
