Europe: Stock markets rebound at open
EUROPEAN stocks rebounded at the open on Friday, the end of another volatile week for financial markets, as traders assess the impact of high inflation on the economy.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.8 per cent to 7,292.81 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index won 0.6 per cent to 13,823.79 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.7 per cent to 6,250.47. AFP
