Europe: Stock markets rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets advanced at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.3 per cent at 7,411.54 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 added 0.3 per cent to 12,430.39 points and the CAC 40 in Paris won 0.4 per cent to 5,196.13 points compared with the closing levels on Tuesday.
