Europe: Stock markets stable at open

[LONDON] Eurozone stock markets were steady and London's main index firmed at the start of trading on Monday.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index edged up 0.02 per cent compared with Friday's close to 10,993.24 points.
In Paris, the CAC 40 dipped 0.05 per cent to 4,981.82 points.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index gained 0.28 per cent at the open to stand at 6,371.50.
