Europe: Stock markets steady at open, before ECB

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets steadied at the start of trading on Thursday awaiting a regular policy meeting of the European Central Bank.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dipped a few points to 7,153.24 compared with the closing level on Wednesday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 and the Paris CAC 40 opened flat at 12,237.94 and 5,189.14 points respectively.
