Europe: Stocks climb at open after Asian gains

    [LONDON] European stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Tuesday (Mar 22) following strong gains in Asia.

    London's benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.2 per cent to 7,459.49 points.

    In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX index won 0.6 per cent to 14,412.34 points and the Paris CAC 40 grew 0.3 per cent to 6,602.36. AFP
