Europe: Stocks climb at open after Tokyo gains

    [LONDON] European stock markets climbed at the open on Monday (Apr 4) after Tokyo began the week higher, with investors focused on economic fallout from the Ukraine war and US interest rate outlook.

    London's benchark FTSE 100 index gained 0.4 per cent to 7,566.36 points.

    In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX index grew 0.3 per cent to 14,494.96 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.4 per cent to 6,710.18. AFP
