EUROPEAN stock markets advanced at the open on Wednesday (Jul 20) following sharp gains on Wall Street and a rally in Asian equities.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index added 0.4 per cent to 7,326.68 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX index gained 0.2 per cent to 13,337.85 points and the Paris CAC 40 rose 0.4 per cent to 6,223.32. AFP
