Europe: Stocks climb at open
EUROPEAN stock markets grew at the start of trading on Tuesday (Sep 27) following gains in Tokyo.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.3 per cent to 7,041.74 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index jumped 1.0 per cent to 12,347.55 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.7 per cent to 5,807.60. AFP
