Europe: Stocks close higher

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets finished the day slightly higher Wednesday with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.44 per cent to 6,919.24 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.98 per cent to close at 11,390.38 points, and in Paris the CAC 40 rose 0.99 per cent to 4,917.35 points.
