Europe: Stocks close mostly up

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets closed mostly up on Thursday, although London's FTSE 100 slid 0.22 per cent to end the day at 6,810.60 points as shares in oil companies fell due to low crude prices.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added 0.25 per cent to 10,737.87 points, and in Paris the CAC 40 rose 0.44 per cent to 4,631.43 points.
