EUROPEAN stock markets fell on Thursday (Oct 27) with traders reacting to big company earnings and looking ahead to an expected bumper interest rate hike from the European Central Bank (ECB).
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index fell 0.2 per cent to 7,039.67 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index dipped 0.1 per cent to 13,179.74 points and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.3 per cent to 6,254.91. AFP
