Europe: Stocks drop at open

[LONDON] European stock markets dropped at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index falling 0.5 per cent to 6,933.30 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index shed 0.5 per cent to 11,076.98 points and the Paris CAC 40 slid 0.6 per cent to 4,841.18.
