Europe: Stocks hold steady at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets steadied at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index almost unchanged at 6,770.07 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 was also flat at 10,615.79 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 shed almost 0.1 per cent to 4,548.98 compared with the close on Tuesday.
