Europe: Stocks hold steady at open

[LONDON] European stocks steadied at the open on Friday with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index almost unchanged at 7,001.08 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 was also flat at 11,368.64, while the Paris CAC 40 drifted 0.1 per cent lower to 4,815.35 compared with Thursday's close.
