EUROPEAN stock markets mostly climbed at the start of trading on Wednesday (Jul 27), awaiting another large interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserve to combat decades-high inflation.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.5 per cent to 7,340.56 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX index grew 0.4 per cent to 13,148.49 points and the Paris CAC 40 was flat at 6,209.46. AFP
