Europe: Stocks rebound at open
EUROPEAN stock markets rebounded slightly at the open on Tuesday (Jun 14) following recent sharp losses triggered by growing fears of a possible recession.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.8 per cent to 7,262.77 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index gained 0.9 per cent to 13,546.66 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.7 per cent to 6,066.43. AFP
