[LONDON] European stocks slid at the start of trading on Friday as prospects dimmed for a post-Brexit trade deal.
London's blue-chip FTSE 100, the CAC 40 in Paris and the DAX 30 in Frankfurt had all shed 0.3 per cent after roughly 10 minutes of trading.
