    EUROPE'S main stock markets rose at the open on Friday (Apr 29), extending a recovery following strong gains in Asia and on Wall Street.

    London's benchmark FTSE 100 index grew 0.4 per cent to 7,537.08 points.

    In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX index advanced 0.8 per cent to 14,087.37 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.6 per cent to 6,546.94. AFP
