Europe: Stocks rise at open

    [LONDON] European stock markets rose at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.3 per cent to 7,341.31 points.

    In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.2 per cent to 11,703.24 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.1 per cent to 5,409.68 compared with Monday's closing values.
