Europe: Stocks rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets edged higher at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up a couple of points to 6,881.67.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 rose 0.3 per cent to 10,672.22 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.3 per cent compared with the close on Monday to open at 4,556.35.
