EUROPEAN stock markets slumped at the open on Monday (Jul 11) after heavy falls across much of Asia on China growth concerns, according to traders.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index dropped 1.3 per cent to 7,099.73 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index retreated 1.8 per cent to 12,778.39 points and the Paris CAC 40 shed 2.0 percent to 5,913.80. AFP
