    EUROPEAN stock markets advanced at the start of trading on Friday (Jul 29) following a mixed showing in Asia.

    London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.2 per cent to 7,362.49 points.

    In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index grew 0.6 per cent to 13,365.90 points and the Paris CAC 40 rallied 1.5 per cent to 6,431.43 points. AFP
