Europe: Stocks steady at open

[LONDON] European stock markets held steady in opening trade on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index almost unchanged at 7,431.08 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 index was also flat at 5,567.09 points, while Frankfurt's DAX 30 declined nearly 0.1 per cent to stand at 12,308.98, compared with Friday's closing level.
