European stock markets rise at open

[LONDON] Europe's stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.1 per cent at 7,568.96 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.4 per cent to 12,263.01 points and the Paris CAC 40 added 0.3 per cent to 5,362.37, compared with Friday's close.
