European stock markets rise at open

    [LONDON] Europe's main stock markets rose in early trade on Thursday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.2 per cent at 7,547.94 points.

    In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 added 0.2 per cent to 12,403.58 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.4 per cent to 5,589.68.
