European stocks fall at open

[LONDON] European stock markets fell slightly at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index slipping 0.2 per cent to 6,144.46 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index dropped 0.3 per cent to 9,891 points and the Paris CAC 40 gave up 0.2 per cent to 4,344.89 compared with Friday's close.
