European stocks steady at open

[LONDON] Europe's stock markets stabilised in opening trade on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.1 per cent at 7,272.60 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 also shed nearly 0.1 per cent to 11,950.55 points, while the Paris CAC 40 was almost flat at 5,250.76 compared with Friday's close.
