[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets were steady at the start of trading on Wednesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.06 per cent to 6,833.51 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 added 0.10 per cent to 10,765.00 points and the CAC 40 in Paris fell 0.17 per cent to 4,687.87 compared with Tuesday's close.
