Hong Kong, China: Stocks slightly down at open

[HONG KONG] Chinese shares opened slightly down on Tuesday morning, extending sharp falls from the previous day on concerns over the weak economy, dealers said.
Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index opened down 0.12 per cent, or 26.69 points, to 21,892.93, while Shanghai slipped 0.15 per cent, or 5.38 points, to 3,528.40.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.13 per cent, or 2.90 points, to 2,305.48.
