Hong Kong: Opens higher after US jobs data fuels gains

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened higher Monday, tracking a regional rally following positive US jobs figures, but Chinese markets were down as investors awaited fresh China data.
The Hang Seng Index was up 0.41 per cent, or 112.19 points, to 27,674.87.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.14 per cent, or 4.41 points, to 3,257.67, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.07 per cent, or 1.22 points, to 1,857.27.
