MARKETS in Hong Kong and Shanghai are closed for public holidays. 

The Hong Kong market is closed for its National Day holiday, with trading to resume on Oct 2.

Meanwhile, the Shanghai market will be out for the week due to China's "Golden Week" holiday. Trading resumes on Oct 8.
