Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks drop at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares dropped at the open Monday, giving up some of the ground from a rally last week inspired by the Federal Reserve's decision not to hike interest rates this month.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong shed 0.98 per cent, or 232.55 points to sit at 23,453.93.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.19 per cent, or 5.66 points, to 3,028.24.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dropped 0.20 per cent, or 3.96 points, to 2,004.16.
