Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks follow Wall Street down at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks suffered fresh losses after opening on Friday, tracking another sell-off on Wall Street on uncertainty about next week's US presidential election.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.32 per cent, or 71.97 points, to 22,611.54.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.08 per cent, or 2.59 points, to 3,126.35, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was flat, inching down 0.01 points to 2,071.60.
