Hong Kong, Shanghai: Stocks rise at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened higher Monday following speculation Britain will vote to remain in the European Union this week.
The Hang Seng Index added 1.24 per cent, or 250.65 points, to 20,420.65.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, rising 0.09 per cent, or 2.53 points, to 2,887.64.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.17 points to 1,900.91.
