HONG KONG stocks sank more than one per cent at the start of Friday's (Jul 15) trade, on renewed concerns about the tech sector and ahead of the release of Chinese economic growth data.
The Hang Seng Index fell 1.10 per cent, or 229.10 points, to 20,522.11.
The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.62 per cent, or 20.36 points, to 3,261.38, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange dipped 0.34 per cent, or 7.54 points, to 2,185.15. AFP
