HONG KONG stocks started on Monday (Jul 25) on a negative note following losses on Wall Street, with traders looking ahead to a Federal Reserve policy meeting later in the week.
The Hang Seng Index lost 0.45 per cent, or 92.80 points, to 20,516.34.
The Shanghai Composite Index was flat, dipping 0.27 points to 3,269.71, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange also barely moved, inching down 0.28 points to 2,185.13. AFP
