[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended 0.10 per cent lower Thursday, a third straight loss, following data indicating Chinese manufacturing activity stagnated in November.
The Hang Seng Index shed 21.67 points to 23,349.64 on turnover of HK$61.10 billion (US$7.88 billion).
In mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, edging up 1.67 points to 2,452.66 on turnover of 150.8 billion yuan (US$24.6 billion).
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.21 per cent, or 2.79 points, to 1,344.57 on turnover of 140.8 billion yuan.
