Hong Kong: Shares end the day lower
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended a volatile day lower on Thursday as investors try to gauge the outlook for the global economy under a Donald Trump presidency. The Hang Seng index fell 0.26 per cent, or 57.9 points, to 22,222.63. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.11 per cent, or 3.39 points, to 3,208.45 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.38 per cent, or 7.99 points, to 2,116.86.
